We have been using Proton for Interac transfers but have been using Gmail for emails that are sent from the server.
Well, good news! We are now free of Gmail! We’ve installed Proton bridge, allowing us to use Proton for all email exchanges. While our address shows as hello@happyfungus.ca, it is processed by Protons super secure servers.
Other privacy-type things you might like to know about us:
- We do not use any stats software for keeping track of visitors / SEO such as Google Analytics.
- We do not integrate with any social media. We do have profiles though.
- We do not share any info with anyone, for any reason.
- We don’t rely on a web hosting company, we run our own server.
- Our site is encrypted. Our backups are also encrypted.
- We have additional security measures in place.
- We now use the best privacy-focused email service, exclusively.
- We now host our own newsletter. Goodbye MailChimp (a popular 3rd party newsletter provider)
- We will delete your account upon request, no questions asked.
- We ship discreetly.
Cool right? You can feel safe when ordering from us. We’ve checked out some of the much bigger sites that offer products similar to ours and a few of them are filled with vulnerabilities. Keep in mind that no technology is perfect, software is always changing, being broken and hardened so we are always updating everything and performing automatic security scans, we work hard on keeping things safe for you, and us as well.
