On the outside, you can't. We use the same box design for each variety since we have so many options.  There will be a label on the foil that your bar is wrapped in. The label includes the strain, kind of bar, bar size and when it was made (usually a few days before you receive it).

Happy Fungus chocolate shroom bars are pretty big compared to the other bars (Often around 1.5 grams or 1500mg).

We grow several strains that vary in potency and offer bars in a few sizes so our potency range is very high. From 3 gram Golden Teacher shroom bars to 10 gram Penis Envy shroom bars. We have something suitable for all occasions.

Our bars are made of actual mushrooms that we grow ourselves, many bars sold online are made of research chemicals. They feel like mushrooms but they are not, these bars can be dangerous.

Our bars START at 3 grams (3000mg) and they are still cheaper than the bars sold by others that have only a fraction of the mushrooms in them. Our bars have 24 squares containing magic mushrooms that we grew ourselves and while they are made for tripping, they can also be used as a tasty microdose!

One square from a Basic Bar (The 3 Gram Bars) contains 125mg on average.
This is a smaller microdose size.

One square from a Heroic Bar (The 5 Gram Bars) contains 208mg on average.
This is pretty much a standard microdose size.

One Square from a Legendary Bar (The 7 Gram Bars) contains 291mg on average.
This is a high microdose size.

This is almost a half gram per square, do not use these for microdosing.

Properly stored, handmade gourmet chocolates & chocolate bars will maintain the best quality for about 6 months but will remain safe beyond that time. We recommend that all of our products are stored in colder temperatures (fridge or freezer for edibles).

Bars are small enough to fit in bubble mailers, which means we can ship them using stamps.  If you choose free bar shipping, this is how they will be sent.  If you chose to pay for shipping, they will be sent in a Canada Post box with plenty of room so adding other products when using paid shipping makes sense.

We make our bars fresh, when you get your bar it will be at most a few days old.   In order to maintain the best taste, we recommend you keep bars (open and unopened) in the fridge.  If you have children, please make sure they are VERY hidden as these bars are not made for minors.

Microdosing (Up to .25g)

A small dose isn’t enough to “trip” in the traditional sense, but can lead to subtle yet profound internal shifts. Improvements in mood, productivity, or creativity, enhanced focus, less reactivity, and the possibility of relief from depression, anxiety, cluster headaches, and a variety of other symptoms.

Level 1 (0.25-1 gram)

This level produces a mild “stoning” effect, with some visual enhancement (i.e. brighter colours, etcetera). Some short-term memory anomalies. Left/right brain communication changes causing music to sound “wider”.

Level 2 (1 to 2 grams)

Bright colours, and visuals (i.e. things start to move and breathe), some 2-dimensional patterns become apparent upon shutting eyes. Confused or reminiscent thoughts. Change in short term memory leads to continual distractive thought patterns. The vast increase in creativity becomes apparent as the natural brain filter is bypassed.

Level 3 (2 to 3.5 grams – medium to high recreational dose)

Very obvious visuals, everything looking curved and/or warped patterns and kaleidoscopes seen on walls, faces etc. Some mild hallucinations such as rivers flowing on wood-grained or “mother of pearl” surfaces. Closed eye hallucinations become 3 dimensional. There is some confusion of the senses (i.e. seeing sounds as colours, etcetera). Time distortions and “moments of eternity”.

Level 4 (3.5-5 grams – heavy recreational to spiritual dose)

Strong hallucinations, i.e. object morphing into other objects. Destruction or multiple splitting of the ego. (Things start talking to you, or you find that you are feeling contradictory things simultaneously). Some loss of reality. Time becomes meaningless. Out-of-body experiences and e.s.p. type phenomena. Blending of the senses.

Level 5 (5+grams – heroic/spiritual dose)

Total loss of visual connection with reality. The senses cease to function in the normal way. Total loss of ego. Merging with space, other objects, or the universe. The loss of reality becomes so severe that it defies explanation. The earlier levels are relatively easy to explain in terms of measurable changes in perception and thought patterns. This level is different in that the actual universe within which things are normally perceived, ceases to exist! Satori enlightenment (and other such labels).

Absolutely! Many studies are proving how beneficial psilocybin mushrooms are for mental health and we can speak from first-hand experience that it is true! Our reviews section is filled with people speaking about the benefits of magic mushrooms, in particular to their depression.

If you’re consuming them on a regular basis, yes. You should wait 2 weeks between larger doses of magic mushrooms to reset your tolerance.  You don't need to do this, shrooms are not toxic but you will need a larger dose if you trip again shortly after tripping.

Psilocybin mushrooms are non-toxic.

You cannot technically overdose on mushrooms as the amount needed would be basically impossible to eat. You can have a bad trip though. Bad trips can make you face difficult things in your life, internal things that you often ignore or have suppressed. If this happens, just know that you will be OK, and after your trip you will most likely feel better about those issues, this is being studied by professionals for use in therapy.

Bad trips are not very common and they should not deter you from taking mushrooms, if you take them responsibly.  People have been eating magic mushrooms since we started walking and there have only been a few instances of people taking too much and harming others. As with any substance, shrooms must be taken with caution and good intentions.  Injuries and harmful acts are EXTREMELY rare, they are minuscule (unlike alcohol or cocaine). People on mushrooms tend to appreciate everything, be very chill and full of laughter to the point of tears.

However, if you do feel that you seriously need help. We advise you call a loved one or seek medical attention.  Our products are made with actual mushrooms and do not interact with many medications, however it is possible so be sure to do your research if you are on any medications such as anti-depressants, anti-psychotics or antibiotics.

The short answer is maybe, and you should NEVER consume recreational amounts of mushrooms before you work or operate any kind of vehicle. However, most drug tests do not test for psilocybin/psilocin, almost all of them test only for cannabinoids, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates and PCP. Always use mushrooms responsibly.

Magic mushrooms are not addictive. You can Microdose daily with no addiction issues whatsoever. Our bodies build up a tolerance though so while microdosing daily is fine, you would need larger and larger doses to get the same experience. Yes, if you are not happy with your product, we will send you a replacement product or a refund (minus shipping) once you return the original. If the original has been consumed, our hands are kind of tied because that puts us in a situation where we can be taken advantage of. However, we are here to help so if you are not satisfied with your consumed product, let’s chat about it and we will try to make it right. Since 2018, not a single order has been returned.

We do everything ourselves (the growing, producing, packaging, shipping, hosting and operating our website) and we have very little overhead. Growing the actual mushrooms isn't expensive. It is time consuming, making the products, packing, shipping and operating our website is also time consuming. You're basically paying for our time and we work cheap as Happy Fungus is a labour of love, not a plan to get rich.

Most people are broke these days and the bigger shops are ripping people off so we decided to undercut everybody.  If you find a lower price from a legitimate operation, let us know.
